Neuropathy

Peripheral neuropathy occurs when peripheral nerves are damaged, and is often characterized by the burning, tingling, and numb sensations that patients typically experience in the hands and feet.

This form of neuropathy can result from a myriad of causes– traumatic injury, infection, exposure to toxic substances, chemotherapy, hereditary involvement, and more. But at the Wind Clinic we treat one of the most common causes of peripheral neuropathy: diabetes and metabolic disorders.

Patients living with neuropathy complain of pain ranging from generally irritating to completely debilitating. Neuropathy pain can progress over time, eventually leading to pain and aggravation that inhibits sleep or activities of daily living.

While there is no cure for neuropathy, there are many treatments available and the Wind Clinic proudly offers the most effective and cutting edge options to our patients:

Pulsitile Insulin Infusion (PII)
Calmare electrode therapy
Medication options
Qutenza (capsaicin) therapy
Natural supplements
And more
